How to make vintage button cards

1. Print the sheets on cardstock (around 200–250 gsm) so the cards can hold the weight of the buttons.
2. Cut the cards apart along the edges.
3. Sew the buttons on with thread or twine, or attach them with a glue dot or a little hot glue.
4. Write your name, the date or a little note on the “Handmade by” line.
5. For an even more vintage look, ink or tea-stain the edges.

Are these button cards free?

Yes. All three sheets are free to download and print for your own craft projects.

What paper should I use?

Cardstock around 200–250 gsm works best, because it holds sewn-on buttons without bending. Regular paper is fine for journal ephemera without real buttons.

Can I sell buttons on these cards?
