A high-resolution macro scan showcases of my various textured handmade papers. Some of them are embedded with organic botanical elements and seeds. Scattered across the surface I used numerous delicate pressed flower petals in varying shades of soft pink, magenta, yellow and deep violet, along with tiny organic specks and flecks of dried botanical debris. The natural inclusions are layered seamlessly within the paper fibers, casting faint, subtle shadows that emphasize the tangible, raw quality of the medium.
