What’s in the printable tartan paper collection
- 10 tartan and plaid papers in two sizes, so 20 JPG files in total
- A4 files of 3508 × 2480 px (29.7 × 21 cm at 300 dpi) and US Letter files of 3300 × 2550 px (11 × 8.5 in at 300 dpi), all in landscape orientation
- Papers 1 to 5 have a large, bold check in one main color; papers 6 to 10 have a finer, busier plaid with thin overlay lines

How these tartan papers were made
Every sheet starts with Saacibo’s own artwork: scanned paintings and drawings on paper made with markers and watercolors. Fabric patterns were then used to build the tartan and plaid designs, and the colors were finally changed in Photoshop to create the ten color combinations.

How to print the tartan paper
- Choose your paper size, A4 or US Letter, and download the JPG files you like.
- Print in landscape orientation with “fit to page” and your printer’s best quality setting.
- Use matte or lightly textured paper of 120–160 gsm. Thinner paper is easier to fold and glue; heavier paper suits covers.
- Not sure about the size? Print one test sheet first and check that the edges are not trimmed.

Which size should I choose, A4 or Letter?
Use the A4 files (29.7 × 21 cm) if you print on A4 paper, as in Europe, Australia and most of the world, and the US Letter files (11 × 8.5 in) if you print on Letter paper, as in the USA and Canada. The patterns are the same in both sizes.
Can I use the papers for junk journals and scrapbooking?
Yes. They were made for journals, scrapbooks, cards and other paper crafts.
Can I sell the files or printed copies?
